„Mondo Champagne“ assesses and describes 4.000 champagnes – the well-known champagnes of the big champagne houses as well as many growers champagnes. The editor and author Gerhard Eichelmann founded the publishing house Mondo Heidelberg in 1997. He publishes, among others, an annual guide on German wines which is regarded to be the definite book on German wine, and which wine lovers just call „the Eichelmann“. Besides of German wine, his special love and dedication belongs to champagne, and now, after having published four books on champagne, he makes available his knowledge through the „Mondo Champagne“ app.
